Who are the Volley Youngstars?

The project started in 2000 with the aim, to permit between 18 and 21 years old talents after their gradtuation to manage the step into the first league or maybe even into the national team. Since 2005 the focus is more on younger players. The athletic education follows the promotion concept of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, the German Volleyball Association and the concept professional sports Baden Württemberg.

Which are the aims?

We search, promote and develop young talents as well as we try to delight them for a permanent contest and performance-based commitment. The system of the base camps guarantees an ideal connection between athletic and occupational education.During their succesful graduation, they are leaded to their  athletic performance optimum. The team plays , under the direction of coach Adrian Pfleghar and team manager Michael Utz, in the second League south to gain game experience.

They are part of the German Volleyball Association's confederation base camp juniors Friedrichshafen. The Volley Youngstars have a special right which excludes relegation in the third and promotion in the first league. Our players collect experiences on a high level and learn social values like fairplay, solidarity, team spirit, fellowship, pursuit of achievements and discipline.
